MILTECH JOBS

If you’re a veteran, you probably already know that USAJOBS is one of the best resources for finding federal employment. But what many Soldiers don’t realize is that if you’re currently serving in the U.S. Army Reserve, there are certain federal positions—specifically MILTECH roles—that are open only to actively participating USAR members. To find these opportunities, log into your USAJOBS account, open the Filters menu during your search, expand all options, and under “Hiring Path,” select “National Guard and Reserves.” This ensures you see every position you’re eligible for, including those not visible to the general public. If you are an IRR Soldier, you may consider transferring to the USAR. If you’re unsure how to begin or would like more information, feel free to contact us.
